Same day dentures are delivered the same day as your dental surgery. While they look great and function well, immediate dentures are often used as a temporary cosmetic appliance and are generally replaced by our handcrafted custom dentures following adequate healing time.
Because of our onsite lab we can offer Same day dentures on a limited basis. The process requires a full exam and x-rays prior to scheduling if natural teeth are present. Once the dentist completes the exam you will be provided a personalized treatment plan with cost so that you will be fully informed of what to expect and to make sure all of your questions and concerns are answered prior to scheduling.
During your same day service we will take impressions for your new denture or partial and our on site lab will start the process of your new smile. The lab will complete your denture or partial, and you will have something to smile about. A six month warranty against breakage along with no charge denture adjustments are offered for these dentures.
For a same day service we recommend our Economy Dentures as a transitional or initial denture. These dentures are worn during the healing period, usually an average of six months or more. Then we will place permanent dentures using any style denture or partial you choose to purchase.
Partial Dentures
We offer several types of partial dentures – cast metal, flexible and acrylic.
Cast Metal Partial Denture
Our cast metal dentures are the strongest option, very lightweight, and offer an outstanding fit. These partials have a metal framework that uses your natural teeth as support.
Flexible Partial Denture
Our flexible partials are made from a gum-colored material and flex much more than the cast metal. They snap over teeth and rest on the gums. These partial’s are typically used in difficult cosmetic cases where aesthetics are a major concern.
Acrylic Partial Denture
Acrylic partial dentures are less expensive than the flexible and cast metal partials but often tend to feel bulkier. They are a great option for 1-3 missing teeth where aesthetics are a major concern. We typically use them when teeth are removed prior to insertion.
